Who?
Who??
That’s what everyone says. It’s perfectly alright to say that. You're not sure who we are and this blog is one way for you to begin to know us. We are Wasatch Performance Consultants (WPC). I know…that’s kind of a weird name. We’re “Wasatch” because we are located next to the beutiful Wasatch Mountains in the Salt Lake City Valley.
We’re “Performance” because, as we say in our literature, we are “all about performance!”
We look for ways to improve business and process performance by helping our clients “where they are”. That means if our clients need to get on the right path by Strategic Planning, we can help them do that. We will guide the planning session and ensure that we arrive at an actionable plan. If our clients are deep into their production cycle but are experiencing Process Issues, we will use proven Human Performance Technology (HPT) concepts to analyze the process and determine the root cause of the performance issue. We don’t guess. We can demonstrate what’s causing the problem!
We can also help you achieve top Leadership and Team performance through our assistance with Change Management, leadership development, team development, coaching and mentoring, and our menu of Training Services. And…you might just need Facilitation Services. We can help there too. We can guide your crucial decision making meetings to let you focus on deciding the best path forward for your team.
A little about the Principle Consultant… My name is James Bishop but call me Jim. I have worked in the employee/organizational development field for several decades. I have been trained by what I consider to be the best and I have experience in both the public and private sector. I am trained by the American Management Association in Strategic Planning and I am a certified Master Performance Consultant. More importantly, I have developed listening skills. I take the time to listen to you so that my team and I can address your unique concerns.
In the weeks and months ahead, I will be using this blog to let you know more about how we think and how we work. I also want to give you some ideas how you can improve your processes and your results. I want you to be able to get to know us better and hope that you will consider us a trusted advisor to you and your team.
WPC is Veteran owned and our ethics reflect that. We would love to partner with you to help you achieve higher performance in your organization and from your people. Let’s talk!
